April 16, 2020 – At the ARTMUC art fair in October 2019, I was frequently asked about collector-grade, lightfast, and high-quality photo prints, as collectors like to think about the future. Furthermore, photographs do not look equally good on every material; there are significant differences.
After a testing phase with several papers, I decided on Hahnemühle’s PhotoRag fine art paper – it looks truly excellent and makes a great impression in a mat and glass frame!
From now on, each of my motifs is available in this form. The formats are available from 25 x 35 cm, with the print area corresponding to DIN A4. Almost unlimited upward. Real wooden frames in white with a mat in DIN A3 size (40×50 cm exterior, the printed image approximately 30×40 cm) have proven successful at the Kunstverein Kunst Stuttgart International. These photographs were real eye-catchers.
