2021-04-15 – Mystical Maya Land: Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula and the Caribbean Sea – turquoise, green, and emerald. These are also the colors of the new photo series by Andreas Bromba. The photographs originate primarily from the once-significant Maya city of Chichén Itzá and depict ancient stone buildings, pyramids, and artifacts in all their shades – not touristy, not archaeological, but vibrant, as if the builders and their gods had simply hidden from the conquerors.
