The city of cities – even if it is not as beautiful, as clean, or as modern as others: New York is and remains a legend. New York is full of landmarks that everyone has seen many times in films and series: the Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building (King Kong’s favorite place), the Brooklyn Bridge, and so many more. In addition, there are legendary streets like Broadway and districts like the Bronx, Chelsea, and the Upper West Side; it simply never ends! In July 2025, a small, fine city portrait was created—my perspective on this city, as always, with both proximity and distance.
