The Art of Reduction: “hamburg minimal” reveals what we overlook every day

The new photo series “hamburg minimal” invites you to discover the Hanseatic city in a completely new way. Instead of spectacular panoramic views, it deliberately focuses on the seemingly inconspicuous: architectural details, reduced forms, clean lines. This creates a visual language that distills Hamburg to its essence—and precisely through this, unfolds an unfamiliar intensity. The exhibition celebrates its premiere at the VisuleX Gallery for Photography in Hamburg-Eppendorf and consistently continues the successful series “berlin minimal”.

The exhibition is part of an ongoing body of work in which Bromba explores urban spaces through minimalist reduction—including projects in Munich, New York, and Barcelona. The goal is not just to depict cities, but to reveal their hidden structure: quiet, clear, and at the same time surprisingly intense.
